Improvements completed in 2011 see the drive tarmaced and the small car park by the Church re-laid. Disabled toilet and access to the Church has been provided which may be helpful to ringers friends. First floor ringing room. The key to the tower is available from tower corespondent who will also brief ringers with regard to the clock mechanism.

The local public house is the Hampstal Inn in the Burf part of the village which is down by the river, they also serve meals. St.Peter's is also famous for being the birthplace of Frances Ridley Havergal, Victorian hymn writer and poetess. In the area is Witley Court (English Heritage) the baroque church adjoining it has been fully restored.
