Updating this Website

Many pages show the date of their last modification and a link to this page which contains the contact details for the web keeper. The dates on the page will correspond with entries in a list of changes kept on file for tracking purposes.

Importance of Correct Information

To enable these pages to be useful to members of the W&DCRA as well as other ringers who may be visiting the area it is important that the information is kept up to date. Your help in contributing to the notes topic such information regarding amenities in the local area would be greatly appreciated.

Visitors can be annoyed if they turn up for practice nights published on pages such as these, Dove's Guide or Tower Base only to wait around and discover there is no practice. Please let me know of any changes to practice nights especially if you practice only on certain weeks.

Content of Tower Information Pages

All the tower pages are generated from a common template. Each topic is discussed in the order in which it appears.

Ideas for new content matter

Any suggestions for other content matter on the website would be very welcome. Be prepared to be asked to supply the information and I will convert it in to a web page.

Steve Scanlon

Hello,

I'm S t e v e   S c a n l o n, who administers this site on behalf of the Association. I have been appointed by the central committee, however the web keeper is not actually a committee post. Bellringing is one of a number of my hobbies including photography and computer programming. Many of the tower photographs are mine and I have written a number of free computer programs for bell ringers too.
