Access via a straight staircase with banister rail is on the left as you enter the church via the West door. A car park outside the church will hold a dozen or more cars. In "The Archers" radio serial, the village of Ambridge is based on Hanbury. The tower bells are sometimes heard on the programme. There are toilet facilities at the church and village pubs serving food. Hanbury Hall a National Trust property is close by.
