Access to the tower is external. A staircase of 54 wooden steps leads to the ringing chamber. Parking for coaches is good - there is normally enough parking around the Green. No readily available toilet facilites apart from local pub. A Popular wedding church on village green with shops & tea room. Nearest real ale pub is the Coach & Horses at Weatheroak with restaurant attached. It brews its own Weatheroak Ale.

Note: The spelling of the dedication of this church is Saint Nicolas not Nicholas
