Notes

Access to the ringing room is very interesting and not for the faint hearted as the bells are rung from a cage suspended in the central tower. The path from the ground to the cage involves two stone spiral staircases, a walkway through the roof, a squeeze through a narrow passage and a see-through iron staircase into the cage. More details and photographs may be found on this link.

Parking is available on a Pay & Display to the West of the Abbey, off a mini roundabout at the junction of Church Row and Abbey Road. Pershore is a small market town on the busy Worcester to Evesham road. A pleasant place to amble around and take refreshments in the restaurants.
