The Ringing room is accessed via a hundred steps of a spiral staircase in the North transcept, then a walkway above the vaulting and another spiral staircase in the central tower. The ringing room is of large proportions and space in the clock room is utilised as a bellringing training centre. Worcester shopping centre is close to the Cathedral and has many quality shops too. These is a pleasant walk along nearby River Severn. The Worcester Pottery Museum, Cricket ground and racecourse all within a short distance.
