Croome d’Abitot, St Mary Magdalene

St Mary Magdalene (Churches Conservation Trust) is located in Croome Park, a National Trust Property.
The park has been open to the public since 1996, Croome Court (purchased by the Croome Heritage Trust in 2007) opened to the public in conjuntion with the NT in September 2010. Although the Church is closed and in the care of the C.C.T., it is open for access during the parks normal opening hours.

The unringable bells were restored, in a DIY project by the Western Branch, in 2011 to celebrate the Centenary of the formation of the 3 Branches within ‘The Worcestershire & Districts Change Ringing Association’.
In 2024 a professional restoration was carried out, a generous gift of a local ringer.
Visiting bands are very welcome. Quarter Peals are usually rung on Sunday afternoons.

Close to the main entrance building. Meals and drinks are served in the restored ‘RAF’ canteen.
The church is a short walk from the entrance
